Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Early Arrival – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Your journey begins with a morning pickup from Entebbe International Airport by your professional driver-guide. You’ll then embark on a scenic drive to southwestern Uganda, crossing the equator and passing through rolling hills and traditional villages.

Stop for lunch in Mbarara before continuing to Bwindi – home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, check in and relax at your lodge as you prepare for tomorrow’s unforgettable trek.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, head to the park offices for a briefing before venturing into the forest. Your trek through the thick, ancient jungle will lead you to one of Bwindi’s habituated gorilla families. Spend one magical hour observing them up close — an experience that leaves a lifelong impression.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, freshen up, and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Uganda’s most beautiful lake, dotted with 29 emerald green islands. Relax and soak in the peaceful views.
