Day-by-Day Itinerary (Midrange Lodges)

Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Kibale National Park

You’ll be welcomed at Entebbe International Airport by your safari guide and transferred to Kibale Forest National Park, passing through tea estates and beautiful countryside. Optional visit to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary depending on arrival time.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

After an early breakfast, enjoy an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale. Later, drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying spectacular views of the Rwenzori Mountains en route. Optional evening game drive if time allows.

Day 3: Game Drive – Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Embark on a morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, and antelope species. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, known for its dense populations of hippos, crocodiles, and birds.

Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha Sector

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest

Early breakfast followed by a briefing at the park headquarters, then begin your once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trek. Spend up to an hour observing a habituated gorilla family, then return to your lodge for relaxation and reflection.

Day 6: Return to Entebbe – Departure
