Experience Uganda’s breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife on this 5 days Uganda safari. From the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park to the misty forests of Bwindi, this safari offers an unforgettable blend of game viewing, gorilla trekking, and cultural experiences.

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be met by your safari guide and driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The scenic drive takes approximately 6 hours, passing through rolling hills, tea plantations, and local villages. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy a short evening game drive to spot elephants, buffalo, and various antelope species.

Day 2: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, home to lions, leopards, elephants, and large herds of Uganda kob. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. The boat ride offers excellent wildlife sightings, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The drive takes about 5-6 hours through the Ishasha sector, where you may spot the famous tree-climbing lions. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax in preparation for the next day’s gorilla trek.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today is the highlight of your safari! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on a thrilling gorilla trek. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once you locate a gorilla family, you will have one magical hour to observe them in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to your lodge to rest and reflect on the incredible experience.

Day 5: Return to Entebbe & Departure
After breakfast, begin the journey back to Entebbe, enjoying scenic views of Uganda’s lush countryside. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a brief city tour or a visit to local markets for souvenirs before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
