🗓 Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda!

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our driver/guide and transferred to your hotel. If time allows, visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens for birding and primates.

Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Transfer to Murchison Falls NP

After breakfast, drive northwards to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an up-close rhino tracking experience – your first member of the Big Five. Continue to Murchison Falls NP, check in and relax.

Day 3: Game Drive, Boat Cruise & Top of Murchison Falls

Morning game drive on the northern banks to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. Afternoon boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls – then hike (optional) to the top for an epic view.

Day 4: Scenic Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

A full-day scenic drive to Kibale National Park, passing villages, tea plantations, and the beautiful Fort Portal region.

Day 5: Chimp Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

Morning chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest with chances to see colobus monkeys, mangabeys and more. After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP, with optional stops at crater lakes.

Day 6: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Game drive in Kasenyi Plains to spot elephants, lions, and antelopes. Afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel to view hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha (Tree-Climbing Lions)

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable NP through Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Arrive in Rushaga and relax at the lodge.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Early breakfast and head for gorilla trekking – a life-changing encounter. After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most scenic spots.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Day 10: Walking Safari & Return to Entebbe
